Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Sparkle by Kimberley (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and what rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are: Sparkle by Kimberley, a UK sole trader business run by Kimberley. You can contact us about privacy at hello@sparklebykimberley.co.uk.
What we collect and why
| What | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, delivery address and order details that Etsy shares with us when you buy from our Etsy shop | To send your order and keep you updated | Contract |
| Your email (and first name, if given) when you join the Sparkle Club | To send our monthly newsletter and free printables | Consent |
| Your name, email and message when you use the contact form | To reply to you | Legitimate interests |
| Anonymous visit statistics (only if you agree) | To understand which pages are popular | Consent |
| Order and tax records | Because UK tax law requires it | Legal obligation |
We never see your card details. When you buy, you check out on Etsy, which handles your payment under Etsy’s privacy policy.
Children
Our tutorials are for everyone, but our forms and shop are for adults. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Kids’ Corner has no forms, sign-ups or comments, and printables download without an email address. The Sparkle Club is for over-18s only.
Who we share it with
We only share what’s needed to run the shop, with companies that protect it properly:
- Etsy (our shop, payments and order messages)
- Royal Mail or other delivery services, who receive your name and address to deliver your parcel
- Resend (sending emails)
- Cloudflare (website hosting, security and, if you agree, privacy-friendly visit statistics)
We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
- Order records: 6 years, as required for UK tax.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe (every email has a link).
- Contact messages: up to 2 years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your information, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Just email us. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
